| This painting was created as a donation to the Newport Art Museum's Wet Paint 2009 fund raiser. The August morning I painted it was hot, sunny and calm with just a hint of an onshore breeze. So, I had some fun exaggerating the surf pounding on the rocks. And I changed the time of day to the late afternoon. |
